Optimal Development in AdolescenceWhere Do We Go from Here?University of Southern Mississippi Optimal development in adolescence constitutes an important area of investigation, one that has significant implications for the study of adolescent development, the training of psychologists for work with this population, and the provision of psychological services intended to enhance functioning beyond the elimination or reduction of problem behaviors.
